The picture is missing 2 Snicker cream eggs - My husband ate them. I found the wrappers after the picture was taken. The open package seen in the pic is the one I ate!
I found that I could save a ton of money and actually purchase goods and items FREE or less than a dollar at my local stores, not just the Dollar Stores! I want to keep a journal of all my savings. I hope that shows others that they can save money by using coupons and discounts, getting the "Rock Bottom Prices" and sometimes items for free for everything on God's green earth.

My $9.52 OOP Target Trip on March 15, 2011
Today, I went to Target. I have had problems in the past with coupons and the cashiers at this Target so much so that I boycotted them for about 3 months. However, I had 18 coupons for the Goodlife cat food to use so I thought I would go and try again. I understand that in those 3 months, Target has become more coupon friendly!
Here is what I got:
(4) 12 packs of Diet Pepsi @$2.50 each = $10.00 - $2.00 off peelie on pack = $8.00
(10) GoodLife wet cat food @ $0.53 = $5.30 - (8) $1.00 MFC - (2) $1.50 MFC = NEGATIVE $5.70
(8) GoodLife wet cat food @ $0.65 = $5.20 - (8) $1.00 MFC = NEGATIVE $2.80
(1) Olay Regenerist cream cleanser - $6.14 - $3.00 MFC - $2.00 Target = $1.14
(1) Olay Daily Exfoliating body wash = $5.84 - $4.99 MFC (B1 facial cleanser G1 Body wash or bar soap) = $0.85
(1) Lysol hand soap for dispenser (My husband wanted - No Coupon) = $3.49
(1) Up & Up Ibuprofen 50 tablets $1.77 - $1.00 Target coupon = $0.77
(1) GE Energy Smart 2 pack 60 watt light bulbs = $4.98 - $2.00 MFC - $1.50 Target coupon = $1.48
SUBTOTAL: $7.23
Sales Tax: $2.29
TOTAL OOP: $9.52
Total Savings: $46.65
So I guess that I had a pleasant and an excellent trip to Target. The cashier did not give me any problems at all. My husband and I walked out of the store as happy campers!!
Also, too, I got 3 more peelies on the Diet Pepsi that I purchased there for $2.00 off the purchase of (4) 12 packs that I will probably use to purchase more Pepsi.
